MCC has come a long way since it was founded five years ago. MashAllah, the community has grown and become more active. We have out grown our facilty and look forward to moving to a new center. In the meantime, we all need to do our part to maintain our center. So, how can you help? Well, become an MCC member, volunteer your time, sponsor a jummah lunch, donate, and/or if you are already a member, run for a position on the MCC Board. Inshallah, we will be having our elections May 21st, and with so much going on and four seats open, this is an exciting time to be on the Board.

May Allah bless all of our family and friends, protect us, and guide us on the right path. Ameen

Our Operating Principles

MCC is a welcoming center to all Muslims and non-Muslims. Our action-oriented leadership as defined in our bylaws is accountable to the general membership. Our members of youth, men and women are all encouraged to participate in MCC’s committees and programs. As these programs are provided to our community in San Diego, we have established English to be our official language. We respect everyone’s time and continue to adhere to due process in our business conduct. Finally, MCC has no particular schools of thought or Mazh-habs, nor particular political orientation.

What can you do?

The support of our community is essential for MCC to continue our programs and ensure our future. MCC has seen much success in its first couple of years of existence. This is a direct result of the many volunteers MCC has. MCC relies not only on its volunteers but also on community financial support. Support is provided by membership dues and pledges. You can support MCC by becoming a member and committing to a monthly pledge. It is this commitment that allows MCC to plan ahead. With your help more can be done and current programs can be maintained. Pick up a membership form today and choose a committee to join. Your time, your skill, and your support is what we need most.
